August 23rd -- A meeting of the National Patients' Committee was held at Meriwether Inn. Reports were heard from all committee chairmen and officers. Jack Korber of Albuquerque, New Mexico was elected vice-president to succeed Bill Ethridge who has returned to his home. Dr. John Ruhrah presented a talk on the history of polio. After a short vaudeville skit was presented by the comedy team of Helburn and Katz, the meeting was adjourned.
