THIS MONTH - GROUP BY GROUP

2

Polio Crusaders -- November marks a new high peak for the Polio Crusader movement. Mrs. L. K. Donovan reports 316 new members and $1,839.20 in contributions. This is about one-half of the total amount raised by the Polio Crusaders since the movement was launched.

3

Donny's sparkling presentation of the Polio Crusader tribute to Mr. Roosevelt at the Founder's Banquet appeared in all the metropolitan papers. If Franklin D. Roosevelt is Polio Crusader Number One, Donny ranks as Polio Crusader Number Two.

4

The interested crowds drawn by the President-elect's visit have given Donny the sum of $486 in Polio Crusader memberships. More power to Donny and all the newspaper men, secret service men, congressmen, and what have you.

5

Publicity -- Under Phil Buchen, chairman, and Edward Patterson, circulation manager, the Polio Chronicle circulation has been tested and a policy worked out for consistent useful expansion. Possibilities of advertising are being investigated by George Salmon, of Maplewood, New Jersey.

6

Architectural and Mechanical Hints -- Preparing copy and illustrations for feature article on automotive devices for parals, Boyd White, chairman.

7

Rehabilitation -- New form letter, prepared for arrivals at Warm Springs, telling about state rehabilitation services available. Plans are under way for stenography class starting in January -- with state aid. Lewis Hanchett in charge.
