ORIGINAL CAPTION:  This is an exceptional picture. Lucy Hudson, age 5, rarley smiles anymore. Mostly, she just sits and frowns. A brain injury in her second year left her metally retarded. What the tragedy did to her father and what it made him do are told in this story.
