Digital artifacts on this site are not facsimiles. They are new
editions of the original work and should be cited as such. In the
process of creating digital versions of these artifacts, the
Disability History Museum has corrected typographical errors but
perhaps inadvertently added errors of our own, and reformatted
materials to facilitate their use on the web.
All citations of texts and graphics from any sector of the
Disability History Museum should contain the following
information:
Author, title, print publication information (if known), and URL of
the specific text or graphic; the Disability History Museum's
name and URL; and the date the document was retrieved. If a citation
references a specific text excerpt, it is recommended that the
paragraph numbers to the left of the text body be included in the
bibliographic reference.
