Becoming Helen Keller: Providing Support
The Becoming Helen Keller film received a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The American Masters PBS series has given support and a commitment to broadcast the film. But we are still urgently in need of finishing funds. Your donations, large and small, will bring us closer. Straight Ahead Pictures is the 501-c-3 sponsoring this endeavor, and as a non-profit project all the pledges (minus the retail cost of the rewards) are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We will send you a Thank You notice and formal receipt for your tax records with each contribution.
What will we do with your DONATED contributions?
• Complete the editing
• Design and implement the animation and graphics
• Record our on camera narrator
• Translate sign language
• Capture two pick up interviews
• Color correction
• Pay the rights to use stills and film footage
• Compose a score
• Mix the two hour project and prepare it for broadcast
What has already been done with the help of those listed below?
All principal photography has been shot, Hour One is edited, Hour Two currently is in a rough assembly mode. Join us in reclaiming Keller's story and bringing this history of human rights more fully to the American public!
