Mr Henry M Hurd,

3

I received your letter of the 19th. was pleased to hear from my husband but was sorely worried to hear that he was not any better & that his appetite was poor, now will you please let me know right away how he is this week is he running down in flesh & shrink & does his apetite fail all the time or does it improve any & and tell me all about just how he is if you think reallt that he can not ever get well, I want to come and see him, if you think it will not hurt him I want to come any way I will do as you say I do not want to do anything that will hurt him, I have tried to do everything for him that I could when he was home & now since they have taken him away from me it seems to me that he is not alive. . .-Illegible-
