At the Founder's Day banquet a huge envelope with a card bearing 113 letters to Governor Roosevelt was presented. It was a testimonial from Warm Springs alumni and Polio Crusader members, carrying 156 new memberships and $722 in contributions.

The Polio Crusader objective is $25,000 a year to the Patients' Aid Fund, half of the total objective of $50,000 annually established by the Foundation. We have made a start in the right direction --, the line keeps going up and it gets steeper. Let's get underneath and push it higher.
