At a meeting of the National Patients' Committee on April 19, L. L. Weeks, of Skaneateles, N.Y., was advanced from the vice-presidency to the presidency of the Committee, succeeding John LeMoine, of Montreal. A. S. Van Horn, of Ridgewood, N. J., went in as the new vice-president. An amendment to the Committee constitution was proposed to change monthly meetings from the third to the first week of the month, and to end the Committee's year on June 30 instead of July 18, as formerly. Action will be taken at the next meeting.

POLIO CRUSADERS -- More than 1300 letters sent out. June Pickering, chairman, wants to hear from alumni in answer to John LeMoine's letter with the April CHRONICLE.

4

LIBRARY -- Library indexing completed. Gifts this month: Funk and Wagnalls Comprehensive Dictionary and a year's subscription to Literary Digest from Mrs. Ruby Benjamin of Atlanta; also a two-copy year's subscription to News-Week, with the compliments of the publishers.

5

STAMP CLUB -- The Club netted $18.25 from a benefit show. Spent it on albums and glassine envelopes. Under John Reisner, the Club is doing heaps of work and having lots of fun sorting, soaking, classifying and mounting stamps for the "Franklin D. Roosevelt" collection. Alumni and stamp collecting friends are being very generous in supporting the Club.
