In some countries there are no book-stores, where Bibles and good books can be bought, and therefore men are employed, called "colporteurs," who travel over the mountains and through the villages, trying to induce the people to buy the word of life. They give away many copies to those who are too poor to purchase. The Sunday-school missionaries in our own land do the same kind of work. Will you not help them to do this? Children who have more books than they can read, and who can borrow and buy others, know nothing of the way in which these volumes are treasured in destitute places.
